Red Beard Fish Lamp

Handmade craftmanship, with several months of detailed labor went into this artwork. This lamp is made up of thousands of individual glass flowers, scales, twirls, twisties and fins. Complete with big googly eyes and buck teeth smile. A techniques called lampworking, which uses a torch to melt and shape soft glass rods, is used to achieve this. Bright reds, mint and turquoise, with bright blue are carefully arranged to allow for a delightful 360 degree view. Everything is wired into a metal frame, which is securely anchored to a gold colored brass lamp. Uses a 150 watt, 3 way touch bulb and has a standard 120 plug. The light has a switch for on and off function. Stands approximately 12 inches tall at highest point and is about 9 inches wide from tail to mouth.
