Painted Floral Beads

Learn how to decorate your beads with lovely surface florals. Using soft glass, the class will begin with pulling different ribbed canes as prep material. Then move on to building up a a lovely landscaped base bead. How to marver, shape and blend colors, use of dichroic strip, peeling clear and encasement will be practiced. How to touch peel, pat and thread the various petals and leaves to complete your bead design. Application of micro canes and stringers will also be utilized. Beads will have to be kiln annealed and be ready for pick up later. Bead making skills or previous skills required.
